John Cheesmond; British citizen born in South Africa, resident in Basel Switzerland since 1988; Parent of Raquela ( Aiglon 2009) ;  career in Lifesciences and Specialty Chemicals at Ciba-Geigy Ltd; past Partner Schroder Venture Lifesciences; past Partner Deloittes; has served as a director of companies in USA, Switzerland, Germany, China, India, Korea, Brazil, South Africa amongst others; chartered accountant and holds MSc from London University; tutored finance and accounting at Universities; Member Swiss Alpine Club; Has lived in Switzerland, USA, Britain and South Africa.
