Our Students
Aiglon is an international school based on the long-established and highly regarded British educational model. In keeping with Switzerland's reputation and tradition as a global hub, students at Aiglon come from many countries, although more often than not they are seasoned international travellers in their own right, with links to more than one home country. Although we do not impose any sort of quota system, it is important to us that there is a proper balance of nationality and language within Aiglon, to allow both the delivery of the English-language based curriculum and the multi-national experience that develops tomorrow's global leaders.
Among the more than 50 nationalities currently represented at Aiglon, 65% are European, 10% are North American, 8% are Middle Eastern, 5% are from the Far East and Australia, 3% are South American, 3% are Indian and 3% are from Central Asia. Most pupils at Aiglon speak two languages well - certainly by the time they leave us - and it is not unusual for pupils to speak three, four and even five languages. It makes for a rich and diverse experience!
