Pastoral Care
The welfare of every pupil is vitally important. Young people mature and develop in a community which provides care and support at all times. Being able to try new things, making mistakes in a controlled environment and learning from them, is a key part of education.
At the centre of the pastoral care system is a pupil's House and the houseparents who run it. They are supported by teams of tutors and other staff. There is a permanently available Health Centre and medical staff on site to cope with any medical concerns, with access to counselling staff and other professionals if they are needed. An extensive and high-quality choice of food is available in the Dining Hall and in Houses.
