Meditations
Meditations are a distinctive feature of life at the College. A creation of founder, John Corlette, these talks are given at the beginning of the College day to all students. Teaching staff and others prepare and deliver these short talks, which are prefaced and followed by a period of silence. The intention is to provoke students by creating an appropriate atmosphere and then using the talk to "drop a single idea into the silence" for students to reflect on. Some meditations are available to read here.
