Easter and Summer Holidays: Campus Visiting

The school holidays represent a time of relaxation and revision for our students, but student must be diligent and take advantage of this time away from Aiglon to pursue service programs, internships, paid work experiences, academic enrichment courses, and begin touring colleges and universities around the world.

Students in the Lower Sixth and Upper Sixth Forms are encouraged to visit the undergraduate campuses that interest them most, exploring the opportunities and resources, which may help in the planning of future courses, the writing of a persuasive personal statement/essay, or the knowledge of the various structure and programmes offered in the US. Exploring campuses of different sizes (1,500 to 20,000 undergraduates), locations (urban, suburban and rural), and course offerings (specialized, technical, liberal arts, and others) will undoubtedly reveal the many fantastic opportunities there are available! Students are encouraged to call ahead or register online on a university’s website for a campus tour, Open Day, or other visit program. It’s important to begin college/university research early in order to have the most success in finding the ultimate match for academic and personal achievement after Aiglon. The College and Career Counselling Office is available to assist all students in their research and application processes.
