Capital Campaign

The Aiglon College Association Board of Governors, the Head Master, the Aiglon College Alumni Eagle Association and those working for the school are the guardians of Aiglon’s educational philosophy. They shape the future of the school so that every student continues to have outstanding learning, leadership, service, sporting and social opportunities.

The board endorsed a campaign to raise additional resources for our Endowed Funds as well as funding Annual Scholars and for financing the construction of a Sports Centre, a Library and Media Centre and a Performing Arts Centre. To date, the school has raised CHF 8 million for the Sports Centre and CHF 1,2 million for the Endowed Funds.

Consistent with practice at almost all not-for-profit schools, the finance for our:

a) New buildings.
b) Endowment for scholarships.
c) Endowment for staff.

is a challenge that has been accepted by many parents, alumni and friends of the school.

The new Sports Centre will give the Expeditions and Physical Education Departments enhanced opportunities to train young men and women in activities that develop not only physical fitness but also mental toughness. For the first time in its history, the school would be able to host indoor and outdoor sports events throughout the year.

Attracting talented students from around the world is important to increase the mix of student backgrounds. In the past, scholarship students have been highly successful and have enriched the blend of personalities amongst the student body.

Endowing staff positions enables us to attract specialist experts, particularly in music and the arts, to work alongside as actors, artists and musicians ‘in residence’.
