Making a Bequest Provision

Over the last six decades, Aiglon College has developed into a not-for-profit school. All of its income goes back into the campus and the endowment, including scholarships and bursaries.

The Aiglon Heritage Society was created to accept bequests as part of our campaign to grow our endowment. For the last few years, countless alumni, faculty, parents and friends have remembered Aiglon in their planning.

Those who wish to follow in John Corlette’s footsteps by including Aiglon in their will should designate a percentage or a specific currency value for Aiglon College. Furthermore, donors can designate their bequests toward particular purposes, such as scholarships or faculty support, and can create a permanent endowment fund if the underlying assets are sufficient. To establish an endowment through a charitable bequest, one world make a provision for Aiglon College, to create, if my bequest is of sufficient value. Otherwise, my bequest should be used for the general unrestricted endowment of Aiglon, the William Cargill Endowment Fund.
 

The Aiglon Heritage Society

All who include Aiglon in their estate qualify for membership in the Aiglon Heritage Society led by the Chairman of the Board of Governors, Mark Elliott (P’88, ’90). Established to recognize and thank those who have provided for Aiglon through their estate plans, the society hosts periodic events in Switzerland, the USA and the UK, sponsors this gift planning newsletter, and sends a gift of appreciation to those who notify Aiglon of their intentions.
