Extra-Curricular Sport
The PE programme links into the options programme in which team training takes place. Aiglon College is affiliated to two sporting organisations:
• ADISR - The Association des Directeurs des Instituts de Suisse Romande
• SGIS – Swiss Group of International Schools
Within these two organisations we compete in football, rugby, basketball, volleyball, cross-country, skiing, snowboarding, tennis and athletics.
At extra-curricular level Aiglon College performs to the highest standard possible. All of our sports teams are competitive within their respective leagues and competitions. Fundamental to this is the committed expertise of the staff and the willingness shown by our students. Notable successes this year have been:
• SGIS volleyball runners up
• SGIS girls tennis champions
• SGIS athletics overall champions
• CDL relays – boys champions
• ADISR athletics – senior boys and girls, and junior girls champions
• As well as numerous ski successes at SGIS, ADISR, British Schools’ and Welsh Championships (Ski Levels) (Villars Swiss Ski School)
