Beyond the classroom

We like to think that there is only one thing that everyone at Aiglon finds hard to achieve: finding time to be bored.

The education we offer has never been confined to the classroom. The vision of our founder, John Corlette, was of a space where life in close proximity to nature in all its grandeur would enrich learning, develop a healthy and active body, and inspire personal growth.

In today’s increasingly urban and media-driven world, we believe that Aiglon’s ability to offer an extraordinary array of activities outside the classroom is part of what makes an education here like no other.

Indeed, if there is an activity that students are keen to try, but that we do not formally offer, we will do our very best to support them in organising it themselves. We believe that education is about so much more than classroom learning: it is about discovering and pursuing your talent and passions, and sharing them with others.
