The Curriculum
The junior school curriculum provides pupils from 9 to 13 with a broad and balanced education to prepare them to start to specialise as they get older. A transition year, the third form, leads into two years of study for GCSE and IGCSE examinations aged 16.
For the final two years of school, Sixth Form students study the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB). Students choose six subjects, three at Higher Level (HL) and three at Standard Level (SL). Once again, the process is a guided one and the final outcome is carefully tailored to students' individual needs and goals. Further information is available in the IB Studies Guide. The specialism prepares them extremely well for the rigours of university education after Aiglon.
