Economics and Business Studies

At Aiglon, Economics and Business Studies are currently taught at A level and will be taught at A2 Level for the academic year September 2010 to July 2011 as well as the first year of Business and Management and Economics for the IB. They are increasingly popular subjects and the number of students taking these subjects has increased significantly over recent years.

Business Studies, Business and management and Economics are practical, applied and exciting subjects. Principles and theories are explained and investigated and are related to everyday life within a business or economic situation. Students can clearly identify the relevance that these subjects will have in their lives after school.

Through laying the foundation of Economics and Business Studies in a way that focuses the uses and applications of ideas and theories, students are better equipped to relate these studies to everyday working life.
