Visiting my Child
Am I allowed to visit my child during the Summer School?
It is not a problem to come and visit your child during the Summer School and to take him/her out for a meal. However, it is important that the relevant houseparents and the Summer School Office are informed in advance of your visit and that we are informed whenever you take your child off the Aiglon campus. In the interests of minimising the disruptions to our programme, we limit the number of times a child may go out for a meal to three during the Summer School.
What are the best times to come and visit my child?
The children all have a period of freetime from 5 - 6.30pm on most days during the Summer School programme. This is the best time to visit your child. Please note that your child will be away on a 3 day/2 night camping expedition during the second week of the Summer School.
Can I take my child away overnight during the Summer School?
Since we operate a truly varied and very full programme, we feel that it is important that the children do not miss any of it. Outside of exceptional circumstances, we do not permit children to leave the Summer School on an overnight basis.
