Life at Aiglon

Summer School students are accommodated in the school’s comfortable boarding houses. They are separated by gender and age and rooms are shared by up to four children. Each house or chalet has its own recreational area with TV, DVD, games areas and computer network access.

Summer School meals are prepared by the Aiglon chef and his permanent staff who can cater for any special religious or other dietary needs.

Students’ clothes are washed and pressed by the Aiglon laundry.

Summer School students are looked after by houseparents and residential house tutors. These people are qualified and experienced teachers who are used to caring for children in a residential environment. The health, safety and welfare of the students are of primary importance to us.

In case of ill-health or accident, there is a nurse who operates from the school’s health centre on campus. A local doctor is always on call and the nearby hospital provides speedy and reliable emergency services should these ever be needed.

'We just wanted to let you know that George had an absolutely wonderful time on your Summer School… what can we say? He was brimming over with enthusiasm about every single thing he did and he seems to have made some particularly good friends. He is keen to join you again next year.'

Mother of George, British, 15
