Aiglon College meets the most demanding accreditation standards required for international schools.
We participate in accreditation programmes through the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). Aiglon is authorised as IB World School, offering the IB Diploma Programme.
In addition we are affiliated to, or a member of, a number of educational and professional organisations, demonstrating our commitment to the continuous pursuit of excellence.

Council of International Schools
The Council of International Schools (CIS) is the premier organisation in international education for the accreditation of schools and best practice development.
International Baccalaureate
Aiglon College is authorised by the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO) to deliver the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB Diploma) Programme curriculum. The IBO administers the IB Diploma. The IB Diploma is designed as an academically challenging and balanced programme of education with final examinations that prepares students, normally aged 16 to 19, for success at university and life beyond. The programme is normally taught over two years and has gained recognition and respect from the world's leading universities.
New England Association of Schools and Colleges
The New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) assesses and promote the quality of education through the accreditation of its members.
Accreditation by the NEASC assures that members:

- Demonstrate substantive institutional commitment to continual improvement
- Commit to balancing the creative tensions that exist between local autonomy and public authority
- Nurture individual creative accomplishment
Affiliations
First Google Reference School in Switzerland
This status is awarded to schools that are using Google for education tools in creative, innovative or exemplary ways. Google reference school status provides recognition of our use of technology in the classroom to positively impact the education of our students and their learning. It also recognises the way that we use Google tools to share, explore and collaborate as a staff.
Founding Member
Round Square is a world-wide association of which Aiglon College is a Founding Member. Today more than 70 schools on five continents share unique and ambitious goals. Students attending Round Square schools make a strong commitment, beyond academic excellence, to personal development and responsibility. This is achieved by participating in community service, work projects, exchange programmes and adventures, which can, and often does, take students half way around the world.
Recognition for energy efficiency and climate protection.
Cleantech Suisse recognises Aiglon College for its commitment to protecting the climate and that it has signed agreement objectives with the Swiss Confederation until 2029. Aiglon College makes contributions through its efforts to improve energy efficiency for a better environment and a sustainable future for our country.
Boarding Schools’ Association
The Boarding Schools’ Association (BSA) is the United Kingdom association serving and representing member boarding schools, training staff, and promoting boarding education.
Members since 2009
Aiglon formally joined Swiss Learning in September 2009. There are several advantages to teaming up with other schools in order to market Swiss education. Swiss embassies and corporations host venues and invite their networks, enlarging the pool of prospective parents for each school.
NOS Certified School
We are delighted that we have been awarded 'National Online Safety Certified School'. This means staff have completed the relevant training and parents have signed up and are using the National Online Safety website.
Council of British International Schools
Aiglon College is a full member of the Council of British International Schools (COBIS). COBIS is a membership association of British International schools of global quality and is one of 8 constituent members of the Independent Schools Council (ISC) of the United Kingdom.
Independent Schools' Bursars Association
The Independent Schools' Bursars Association (ISBA) is a United Kingdom-based organisation which supports the work of independent schools.
Council for Advancement and Support of Education
The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) is a professional association serving educational institutions and the advancement professionals who work on their behalf in alumni relations, communications, development, marketing and allied areas. CASE helps its members build stronger relationships with their alumni and donors, raise funds for campus projects, produce recruitment materials, market their institutions to prospective students, diversify the profession, and foster public support of education.
The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award is the world’s leading youth achievement award, equipping young people for life. Since 1956 millions of young people have taken part in the Award in more than 140 countries and territories.
Independent Association of Prep Schools
The Independent Association of Prep Schools (IAPS) is the professional association for heads and deputy heads of the leading 600 independent prep schools in the UK and worldwide.
Headmasters' and Headmistresses' Conference
The Headmasters' and Headmistresses' Conference (HMC) represents the heads of some 250 leading independent schools in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. HMC has a further 60 or so international members, including the Headmaster of Aiglon College, and up to 30 additional members (heads of maintained schools in the UK), and 40 Honorary Associate members.
