Supporting Education
Scholarships
As a philanthropic school, each year Aiglon offers a small number of fully funded scholarships to students from families who would not be able to afford the costs associated with an Aiglon education. Since 1991, Aiglon has welcomed 126 scholars, providing support for their continued journey into higher education.
A Philanthropic Community
We take pride in the fact that half of our current scholars are funded through the generosity of parents and alumni. These scholarships are made possible through a combination of annual giving funds, endowment, private sponsorship, and reinvesting operating expenditures. An Aiglon Scholarship includes tuition fees, plus the extra costs which allow scholars to engage fully in life as a student at Aiglon.
Our alumni scholars have been admitted to prestigious universities worldwide and have gone on to play significant roles as changemakers both in their home countries and on the international stage.

Our Approach
Graduating from Aiglon was a big deal for me, and my parents, because it was such an unlikely outcome given where we had come from. If anyone goes back far enough in their history, they’ll find a story of luck and someone who believed enough to give a helping hand to another. Aiglon did this for me and I am eternally grateful. Aiglon changed my life. Now, I have a responsibility and an obligation to improve the lives of others

The Scholarship process is overseen by the Scholarship Committee. Priority will normally be given to scholarship applicants arriving in Year 11 (US Grade 10) or Year 12 (US Grade 11). Scholarships will remain with the student until graduation, pending annual achievement reviews.
Arriving at a new school in a different country and meeting people from diverse backgrounds can be challenging. At Aiglon, making students feel welcome is our top priority. Aiglon scholarship students are warmly integrated into our community through various support systems, including buddy support, welcome meetings, mentorship, houseparent support, tutor and wellbeing support, university advisor support, and travel assistance.
