Members of the wider Aiglon community enjoyed a lovely weekend together in southern France as part of what has developed into an annual tradition. Fifteen guests were hosted at the Domaine de Barbossi by Akram Safa (Belvedere, 2017) and his family Iskandar Safa, Clara Martinez Thedy de Safa and younger brother, Alejandro. In total, with family and guests, the group numbered twenty-four!
The now annual weekend strengthened its two goals to both raise money for Aiglon’s John Corlette Scholarship Fund as well as build Aiglon friendships across all areas of our community: parents, former parents, alumni and board members.
The weekend had a wonderful atmosphere. Guests stayed at the Hotel Ermitage du Riou in Mandelieu-la Napoule and took evening meals at the hotel restaurant, Bistro de l’Oasis, known for its two Michelin Stars. Activities included a group invitation to golf lessons, playing on the course, an excursion to visit the old town of Cannes, as well as some enjoyable time by the pool and ocean all with the opportunity to strengthen old friendships and make new ones.
A very big thank you to our hosts and generous guests.
