The IB Diploma results have been published today, and we are pleased to announce once more a very encouraging picture of high achievement by our graduates. Prior to adjustment for any re-marked entries, the overall average matches the strong results of 2015 and 2016.
The class of 2017 represented a record high of 76 entries,of whom 70 were undertaking the full Diploma Programme. All candidates achieved at least 26 points and the IB Diploma was awarded to 68 of these, giving a pass rate of 97%. Provisionally seven students (10%) have secured 40 points or more out of a possible 45, which represents an extremely high level of performance. Furthermore, 53% of all grades were at the level of 6 or 7, with 7 being the highest grade available.
“I am so pleased to see that, year after year, Aiglon students secure impressive academic results whilst balancing this achievement with an exceptional range of co-curricular challenges,” stated the Head Master, Richard McDonald. “The class of 2017 have met and in many cases exceeded our high expectations.”

A fuller statistical report will be issued at the start of the coming academic year, taking into account re-marks and final university destinations.
