"Giving Back" through Music

Posted on 17th April 2017 in School, People, Spirit

We are pleased that one of our scholarship students, Clive Onyango, is seeking to give back to the scholarship fund that helped sponsor his two years at Aiglon. Clive is an excellent, mostly self-taught musician who wants to use his love for music as a way to express his gratitude to the Aiglon community, as well as raise funds for continued scholarship.

Clive will perform live at the Chalet RoyAlp during the Parents' Aperitif scheduled to take place as part of graduation weekend on Thursday, 22 June 2017 beginning at 17h30. Part of his performance will be streamed live via Aiglon's Facebook account where anyone will have the opportunity to join in Clive's efforts and help support one of Aiglon's scholarship funds.

Clive reflects on his time at Aiglon, "Spending two years away from home has been nothing short of exhilarating. I have immersed myself in the challenging IB course, convinced myself that I am an excellent skier, enjoyed the breath-taking nature of Switzerland and many more. Above all, the best aspect of this experience was meeting and interacting with people from nearly all corners of the earth and making lifelong friends. After Aiglon, I shall study at the University of Rochester, NY, majoring in chemical engineering and a minor in music."

We hope you can "join" us for the event, and we look forward to hearing Clive's music! Please contact [email protected] should you have any questions about the event or how you can support these efforts.
