Great Results from Pila

The Ski Team has just returned from two days of fantastic racing in Pila, Italy at the Interschool Ski Championships. Over 450 students from many UK and European schools took part. Our Aiglon skiers did the school and themselves proud with some incredible performances:

U14 Results

Louis Masquelier-Page
1st in Slalom and in both Giant Slalom races.Winning overall Boys Interschools Champion.

Jameson Sandler
10th in Slalom, and 16th & 10th in GS. This was out of 63 competitors.

Anju Kusamoto
6th in Slalom and 9th in GS out 62 competitors.

Jordan Ray
17th in GS Race 1 and 20th in Race 2 out of 63.

U16 Results

Rebecca Chastney
5th in GS out of 38 competitors

Jake Doyle
2nd in GS out 55 competitors.

Roberto Brera
3rd in Slalom and 7th in GS.

Mitchel Riley
4th in Slalom. 

Philip Bayntun
8th in Slalom out of 55.

U18/U21 Results

Anna Gacek
3rd in GS and 4th in Slalom.

Joseva Jove De Las Heras
6th in GS.

Valentina Pianetti
DSQ on her first run of GS but skied brilliantly in her 2nd run.

Matthew Ray
3rd in GS and 2nd in Slalom

Jack Wright
4th in GS.

Overall in the team result we finished runners up in 2nd place behind Ecolint Geneva. (Only two skiers count for the team award per day and they had two firsts in the younger age categories.)

Brilliant behaviour from all Aiglon students and it was a pleasure to take the racers to this event. Thanks also to David Mansfield, Angus Rose and Annick Bonzon.
