Last Sunday evening, Belvedere celebrated its end of term with a house outing.
They returned to a favourite, the Chateau D’Aigle, for its end of term dinner at La Pinte du Paradis.
The boys started the evening with a lovely aperitif on the restaurant’s balcony facing the Dents du Midi and then enjoyed a sumptuous three course dinner that included a starter of typically salmon tartare or salade de magret, aiguillette de boeuf and their famous trilogie de chocolat.
This was an ideal opportunity to reflect on this incredible term which included sporting competitions, one-third of the house earning the coveted Bouquetin for their engagement in the winter expedition programme and Belvedere’s first trip in a number of years to the House Debate final against Clairmont, having successfully beaten Alpina and Le Cerf in their previous competitions.
The boys enjoyed an outstanding night and although this will be the last time that the entire house is formally together, we are looking forward to giving our Year 13 students an outstanding send off as they look forward to university and beyond!
