Yesterday, Aiglon's Year 12 physics students had the pleasure of partaking in the annual Aiglon trip to CERN.
The group had a tour of the ATLAS control room and the Cyclo Syncrotron with a scientist working on the ATLAS experiment. The students will be drawing on today’s experiences throughout their course and carrying out further work related to the particle physics that they were introduced to today.
Aiglon maintains a good relationship with CERN, taking students for visits each year. Last year, physics teacher Mr Fairweather also spoke on an education panel at CERN. You can view this story again online here.
