Greetings from Aiglon's Admissions Office! While we are working remotely, we are still here and would like to provide you with a quick update on enrolment and re-enrolment.
First, a huge thank you to all our families (returning and new) who continue to place their trust in Aiglon despite these difficult and unusual times. We have very strong re-enrolment next year, and our new student enrolment is encouraging. As of now, we are currently ahead of last year, which was our strongest on record. This is good news!
Some new parents have been concerned about the visa situation. While embassies are only accepting new visa applications in June, we are optimistic that the Swiss authorities will find a solution to issue visas in a timely fashion for our students to arrive on time. Please go ahead and prepare your documents, but don't stress. You can use the attached infographic as a guide. For returning families, the student's residence permit allows re-entry into Switzerland for the autumn term.
While the school's priority right now has been to ensure our remote learning provisions are running smoothly, already we are beginning preparations to welcome new students to campus for the autumn term. Arrival day is always a highlight with plenty of energy and emotion. If you haven't seen it, watch our arrival day video here.
We recognise that this is a challenging time all around the globe, but embracing a spirit of challenge is familiar to all Aiglonians. The collaboration of our community during difficult times has demonstrated that this spirit is alive and well here. As a community, our goal is to face the new year together, on campus, to embrace our guiding principles and live our lives with purpose. The heart of our school is in its people and we are excited to welcome everyone, new and returning, in the autumn term.
In the meantime, we are only a video or phone call away. Our office has been meeting virtually with enrolled families, interviewing new potential students over video call and working with our families to get through this time. Again, we thank you for your continued trust and support of our school. We are glad you believe in Aiglon just as much as we do.
Just drop us a line if you need some help or would like to chat.
