Aiglon is currently halfway through the 2020 Winter Camps session and welcoming new students to the Junior School to experience life at Aiglon.
Students are staying at La Baita and La Casa, with also non-residential students at the Winter Camp who are staying locally to Aiglon in Villars.
The students' academic curriculum includes a range of subjects including English, Maths, Art, French, Geography and History, with project work and interactive games making for enjoyable learning with the Aiglon teachers.
In the afternoon the students are skiing in our beautiful ski region with ski instructors. The ski ability ranges from complete beginner to upper-intermediate / advanced. Following the skiing there is hot chocolate and social time, allowing the new students to get to know other students at the Junior School.
Students can stay for one week, but in many cases, students remain for longer. At the weekend, students can go on an Aiglon Expedition and try snowshoeing or cross country skiing and also spend some time in the local area, with a chance to spend some pocket money on a memento of their time in Switzerland!
"It's a fantastic opportunity for new students to experience life at Aiglon, and I love to see their enquiring minds explore all the Junior School has to offer," says Sorcha Gilbert Dillion, the Aiglon Winter Camp coordinator.
The Winter Camps run until the 14th of March 2020, and for any further information or enquiries, please do not hesitate to contact [email protected].
