The Aiglon College Cup will be awarded to the school with the three best participants’ results, with these participants competing in at least two of the three age categories (mini = U10-12, children = U14-16, junior = U18-21).
Equipment: All competitors and forerunners must wear approved RACE HELMETS for all disciplines.
U10 + U12: For the giant slalom, they will race 2 runs on the GS slope on the Chaux Ronde piste. For the Combi-race, two runs with best runs' time to count. The combi-race has been the favourite event by far at previous Aiglon Cups, with racers asking to go for a third round or even seniors asking for a go! It combines slalom, GS, and super G gates with tunnels, jumps, zig zags and other suprises to really test the skill of the racer!
Training and training pistes: on the days prior to the races, training pistes will be available to clubs or schools wishing to train. Please contact the Chief of Race.
Lift Passes: Villars is a Magic Pass resort and so Magic Passes can be used. Otherwise a special rate for lift passes is available to all racers at CHF 28.-. The rate for trainers and accompanying adults is CHF 39.-. These must be bought from the ticket office at the bottom of the gondola in either Villars or Gryon.
