La Casa (Junior Girls)
La Casa is more than a boarding house, it is a little family tucked in the corner of Aiglon's campus. The design of the house lends itself to being a cosy and safe place for the girls to return to after a busy day.
Welcome to La Casa,
La Casa is a genuine home from home for all our girls. We encourage each of the girls to show kindness, respect and love to each other in every part of their daily lives. A strong bond exists between the students and staff alike. We laugh with each other in the good times, and support each other in the difficult times. In La Casa our number one objective is to ensure that all the girls living there feel cared for and valued for who they are.
We are a house which endeavours to help each girl who lives there to fulfil their full potential. We have a crazy amount of fun and the sound of laughter rings throughout the house everyday, especially when Mr Rowntree wakes the house with his terrible singing in the mornings! Highlights for many of the girls in La Casa are our famous Pizza and Nacho movie nights. It is a wonderful time when the house comes together to socialise and have a good time in the comfort of our ‘home’.
We would be delighted to welcome you to La Casa, to our home, to sample what it is like to be part of our little family. If you come and visit, you will be assured of a warm welcome.
Lots of love,
The La Casa Staff and Girls
La Casa House Team
Simon & Alanna Rowntree
Mr and Mrs Rowntree especially love the energy in-house at the beginning of a new academic year. With a combined teaching background in Religious Studies, Theory of Knowledge and English as an Additional Language, the Rowntrees (along with their two children) enjoy the opportunity to inspire young people, and are well equipped to do so in La Casa.
