Your gift is now increased by CHF 2'500! Three parents have agreed to match and we hope this can help us reach 100% participation.
Over the past few years your child has made an impact on our campus and your donation generates a lasting legacy in their name.
For many years the parents of our graduating class have contributed to an annual class gift. This year Guardians, Prefects and House Captains spoke with their classmates and acted as the liaison with the Advancement team to choose the beneficiary of their gift.
The Upper Sixth students were thoughtful and thorough. They requested a meeting with the Head Master to make sure they understood the Campus Masterplan in order to make an informed decision. In the end, the class was evenly divided between a desire to support the new Assembly & Arts Building and the scholarship programme. You will be able to choose which of these projects you wish to support.
We are also pleased to announce that the impact of each gift will now be increased by CHF 2,500! Three parents have agreed to make donations of CHF 500, CHF 1,000 and CHF 1,000 for each donation made to this year's class gift. We hope this will encourage families to join us in our endeavour to reach 100% participation.
An architect has been selected for the new Assembly & Arts Building. After a high-level of competition between five firms, the Selection Committee made its decision, and the next planning stages are underway.
For the building projects, the Board of Governors stipulates that we must raise 80% of the funds through philanthropy.
Using the button opposite, you can download and read a full update on the project's current status, as well as see more examples of the selected design.
Dependant upon the amount of funds raised, the 2017 Class Gift will provide:
A music practice room - CHF 50,000
A drama classroom - CHF 80,000
The backstage and green room - CHF 100,000
The light and sound control centre - CHF 150,000
Currently, 30 students receive a combination of scholarship or financial assistance. Many of these current efforts are possible through our generous families.
Our goal is to see 10% of the student body be able to access need-based funding.
We recognise that there are talented students for whom access to a school like Aiglon is impossible. The John Corlette Scholarship Fund is an endowment that supports Aiglon’s commitment to maintaining a diverse and talented student body.
If you are a US taxpayer and would like to make a tax deductible donation you may make a gift to the Friends of Aiglon College US (FOAC US). The FOAC US is a US non-profit organization, tax exempt under Section 501(c)3 of the US Internal Revenue Code and is governed by an independent board of directors.
If you are a UK tax payer you may make a tax efficient donation through the Friends of Aiglon College UK.
