Cultural Tour, Japan
Date: March 2020
Our students will have a wonderful opportunity to explore this beautiful city. Tokyo’s rich history lies in its culture and customs, which have weathered the rapid changes Japan has seen over the past 150 years, and it is this clash of new and old that makes Tokyo such a captivating and fascinating destination.
The group of 12 students will have an action-packed week during which they will gain a greater understanding of the etiquette and customs of this beautiful place. Among the many activities on offer, we plan to visit Anime Japan 2020, to explore the iconic Ghibli Museum and Tokyo Sanrio Puroland, take part in a walking food tour, enjoy a sushi-making experience, create our own Cup Noodle, and have a fun day out at the Fuji-Q amusement park. This will be a truly memorable trip for all involved.
This trip will be led by Mrs. Jane Kan and is open to students from Year 7 to Year 10. The Trip will run from 18th to 28th March.
